You will get 50% blue, 25% splash and 25% black from fertile eggs purchased.

Andalusians are another Mediterranean light breed. They originated in the Andalusia region of Spain but the blue laced version we have here in NZ was developed in England. Our birds lay large white eggs and you'll get 6-7 a week for most of the year. We have a blue rooster over 2x black hens so you will get 100% blue offspring.

Orpingtons are a large, dual purpose heavy breed which lay 200+ eggs a year. They are good for both egg production as well as large table sized birds. Although they don’t tend to go broody, they can mother many chicks as they are a much larger bird. They can be quite friendly and tend to not be flighty. Our birds are excellent layers suppasing the average for the breed and will go broody once a year if not at all. Our birds are good quality and we are currently working on their size.

Hamburgs are a light breed. Their origins aren't 100% certain but they are most likely from Holland. Large amounts of development were done on them in England and they were the main laying bird till leghorns became popular. They lay around 150-200 white to cream eggs yearly. They are an extremely flighty breed so a free range lifestyle is best for them. We currently breed Silver and Gold Spangled, Black and Blue.

Olive Eggers are originally a cross between Araucanas and Shavers, with several other breeds added in. They are a breed which are still being worked on here.
