Fertile egg pre-orders allow you to order breeds over Autumn and Winter ready for the 2026 season!

Fertile Egg Pre-Orders are a great way to get what you want for next season. Please fully read through this page before ordering!

New to 2026; DEPOSITS

Due to a large amount of no contacts last season a deposit is now required. This is 10% for most breeds or 20% for high demand breeds. You pay for this at the checkout. Deposit cost is per egg, egg prices are for the 2026-27 price list. Once your order is ready you will be asked to pay the remaining plus shipping. We can not supply shipping costs till your order is ready due to NZ Post's annual price increase and the volatility of fuel prices currently.

Fertile eggs will be available for immediate purchase through Autumn and winter but with limited breeds. We may temporarily suspend sales if numbers are too low. Please check out our online store to see if we have them currently available before ordering if you are wanting eggs ASAP. The store is updated Tuesday evenings so for the full amounts available each week check out the store Wednesday morning.

How Fertile Egg Pre-Orders Work

This season we are only taking pre orders for our ‘Sale Breeds’. The list of our sale breeds is below. Each 'Breed' is the breeding group. If it says Blue/Black then all eggs will be a mix of blue/black and aren't able to be separated. Next to each breed is the maximum amount of eggs for that breed that can be ordered in a week. If you order more than the weekly amount then your order will be split across weeks. These amounts may change once the season starts and lesser amounts will be available earlier. These are estimates so you may be contacted once the hens start laying for us to inform you that we can no longer supply that amount of eggs.

Once you've chosen the eggs you want and the amount of them read through the info list. This provides information on fertility rates, what to expect and our terms and conditions.

Place your Order

Head over to the online store, select 'Pre-Orders' in the catergory menu and then select the breed, colours and amounts you are after. Then head to cart, pay the deposit and your order will then be placed!

Once we Contact you

Once it's your turn for your order to be filled we will email you a 5-10 days out from the date of shipment. Please make sure to reply to this email straight away as well as make payment. Because we need to move on eggs quickly you will have 2 days to reply before we contact the person who is next in line. We will try make contact with you again for next weeks shipping. You can delay your order up to the end of October if you need to.

We have removed the total order amount of eggs for pre-orders this season. As long as each breed amount does not go over the maximum amount you can order as many eggs as you'd like! You can now also make multiple orders.

Pre-Orders are first in first served however we also fill orders as they're ready. Good laying breeds such as leghorns, olive eggers etc will lay sooner and more so if you're just after eggs go for them first.

CANCELLATIONS

To stop time wasters we have created a cancelation policy. We will offer a full refund (excluding processing fees) if we haven't contacted you yet letting you know your order is ready. If we have contacted you and you let us know within the 48 hour period (first contact only) then we will also offer a full refund (excluding processing fees). If no contact is received at all, you cancel after the 48 hour period or after three unsuccessful attempts at contacting you then you will be ineligible for a refund.

Instead of a refund you can opt for a store credit at the full amount you paid.

If CENZ are unable to fill your order by the 31st of October then a full refund including processing fees will be issued. This can happen if fertility is too low, low or bad quality eggs , genetic issues a present or casualties in small groups.

Egg Prices

Packaging Costs

Egg prices will range from $3.00 to $5.00 with most being around $3.50 to $4.00. Price is determined by rarity, quality, quantity and production.
